Instructor: Jim Engler
Jim Engler comes to us from Iowa. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and his Master of Fine Arts in Des Moines, Iowa. He has taught art at Grandview University for 34 years.
Jim began drawing caricatures early in his life. When his friends learned he could draw, they were always asking, "Can you draw me?" So he discovered how to do fun caricatures.
"Caricature is fun," said Jim, "not stuffy like portraiture."
