Heritage craft workshops in Blacksmithing, Wood Carving, Weaving and Pottery will be offered along with many others.

Lodging: Handmade Christmas Folk School special rates are available. If you come with a roommate this cost can be shared.
Meals: The Skillet Restaurant will be open for Breakfast and Lunch from 7 am to 2 pm.

Registration for this session of Folk School is open. There is a non-refundable registration fee due at the time you sign up; the remainder of your class fee is due to the instructor at the beginning of class. Instructors accept cash or check. Before 12-31-10 there is an early registration discount - the registration fee for this session is $30, between 1-1-11 and 3-1-11 registration fee is $45. Registration deadline is 3-1-11. All classes need a minimum number of students to make.

Ozark Folk School - 5 Day Session
March 20-25, 2011
The original Ozark Folk School, this 5-day session starts with a family-style chicken dinner Sunday evening and includes social time during the week, touring local craft studios; folk dancing and listening to music; watching videos of the original crafts people and more. It also includes some of our more intensive classes such as making your own black powder rifle or making your own banjo. You will leave most classes with a finished piece. The final day of the gunsmithing class you will sight your rifle in. Register today for a class in -
