Spend three days tucked away in the Ozark Mountains learning new quilting techniques, quilting with friends and being pampered by our cabins and restaurant staff. This package includes lunch, lodging, instructor fees, and applicable taxes. It does not include supplies and materials.

New for 2014 – Early arrival Wednesday afternoon classes Locker hooking with Jeanette Larson Corn Shuck Flowers with Paula Lane Chicken Scratch Embroidery with Melody Conatser. $30 per class, no pre-registration required for these classes, pay instructor when you arrive Early Bird Registration (before 9-1-2013) – - $180.00 (no lodging) - includes workshop fees, 3 lunches and registration fee.
- $250.00 (double occupancy) – includes workshop fees, 2 nights lodging, 3 lunches and registration fee. Please list your roommate’s name on this registration form.
- $325.00 (single occupancy) - includes workshop fees, 2 nights lodging, 3 lunches and registration fee. For quilters who want a room to themselves or to share a room with a non-quilting partner. For your non-quilting partner we have may classes available in blacksmithing, wood carving, broom tying and other crafts. These must be pre-arranged.
Regular Registration Fees (between 9-2-2013 and 2-1-2014) – - $205.00 (no lodging) - includes workshop fees, breakfast, and registration fee.
- $275.00 (double occupancy) – includes workshop fees, 2 nights lodging, 3 lunches and registration fee. Please list your roommate’s name on this registration form.
- $350.00 (single occupancy) - includes workshop fees, 2 nights lodging, 3 lunches and registration fee. For quilters who want a room to themselves or to share a room with a non-quilting partner. For your non-quilting partner we can have classes available in blacksmithing, wood carving, broom tying and other crafts. These must be pre-arranged and have separate costs.
Lodging is available for early arrivals on Wednesday night or for those who want to stay and extra day on Saturday at the special Quilt Retreat rate of $72.15 (tax included). Call the Cabins at Dry Creek at 800-264-3655 to make these reservations, or sign up for the extra nights when you register for your class.
Ozark Quilt Retreat 2014 Schedule
Wednesday, 2-19-14 – · 1:00 p.m. - Early arrival class registration in the Administration Building lobby. · 1:30 – 5:00 – Classes – Corn Shuck Flowers; Locker Hooking; Chicken Scratch Embroidery · 5:30 – Dinner on your own or we can go as a group to a restaurant in town. · 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. - Socialize and show-and-tell or watch Quilt videos in the Cabins Rec Room Thursday, 2-20-14 - Morning: Register in the Administration Building any time after 9:00 a.m. and pick up your packets.
- Find out where your classroom is when you check in at the Admin Building and set up your sewing machine.
- 12 Noon – Lunch, meet and greet at the Skillet Restaurant.
- 1:00 – 5:00 – Class. Breaks at the teacher’s discretion. There is a soda pop machine in the Admin. Building, one in the Bois d’Arc Center and Cabins Rec Room.
- 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Check into your cabin room, if you did not arrive the day before.
- 2:30 p.m. - Stretch and Relax class for fiber artists. Administration Lobby.
- 5:30 – Dinner on your own or we can go as a group to a restaurant in town.
- 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. After dinner, socialize and show-and-tell or work on your quilts in your classrooms until 9:00 p.m.
Friday, 2—21-14 - 9:00 – 12:00 – Quilting Class, breaks at teachers discretion
- 12:00 – 1:00 – Lunch in the Skillet
- 1:00 – 5:00 – Quilting Class, breaks at teachers discretion
- 2:30 p.m. - Stretch and Relax class for fiber artists. Administration Lobby.
- 5:30 – Dinner on your own or we can go as a group to a restaurant in town.
- 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Downtown Mountain View Quilt & Craft Shop Hop
- 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. After dinner, socialize and show-and-tell or work on your quilts in your classrooms until 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, 2-22-14 - Before 11:00 – Check out of your cabin
- 9:00 – 12:00 – Quilting Class
- 12:00 – 1:00 – Lunch in the Skillet
- 1:00 – 2:00 – Class photos, show and tell, pack up, hugs and good-byes
